Michal Luntz, M.D.
Michal Luntz is a physician-scientist and surgeon specializing in Otology and Implantable Hearing Solutions, with over 40 years of experience, including more than 8,000 surgical interventions, 1,500 cochlear implant surgeries, and 120 peer-reviewed publications. She combines her professional expertise with personal experience of hearing loss, as a current cochlear implant user and former hearing aid user. In 2023, she was honored with the ANS Presidential Citation Award.​
Carrie Spangler, Au.D.
Dr. Carrie Spangler is an educational audiologist with over 25 years of experience, specializing in school-based services and advocacy for teens. She combines her professional expertise with personal experience as both a hearing aid and cochlear implant user. Dr. Spangler is a certified coach, focusing on values-based living and goal setting. She has presented nationally and internationally and hosts the empowEAR Audiology Podcast. In 2021, she received the Fred Berg Award and the ASHA Fellow Award.
